My name is Milla and I am the most affectionate and loving dachshund cross you will ever have the privilege of meeting. I came into foster care after a horrendous incident which I am sure my foster mum will be happy to tell you about, but I don't like to dwell on the sad things in life, so I will leave that story for her to tell. I just love to be loved and am a confident and happy pooch.

I am a bit of a princess, but what dashy isn't? Due to my 'incident', I needed to wear little dresses for sun protection. I adore dressing up and prance around in my clothes as you would in a new pair of stilettos.

I enjoy walks and am comfortable on a lead. I can be a little growly when I see other dogs, but I do try to ignore them as much as I can and just enjoy my walk. I can be a little bit shy when I meet new people, but that is really just a farce. As soon as they give me attention, I am smitten.

Even though I currently live in a home with lots of dogs of all shapes and sizes, I would love to be the one and only dog in my forever home, or live with another dog that would understand my need to own your lap. I adore my smaller four legged foster siblings, but have a tendency to try to push them away from my foster mum so I can hog all of the attention. As an only dog, I would need to have someone home with me most of the time though, so I don't get too lonely.

I am crate trained and love to go into my crate each night to cuddle up with my soft toys. I would be very, very happy sleeping on your bed with you though, if that was allowed!

Oh, and of course I am completely house trained. I have never even had an accident indoors since being in foster care. I have heard that some dachshunds aren't as clean as I am. How horrible would that be?

I am not a barker, but I do enjoy talking, especially when my dinner is being prepared. And if you close the door to the bathroom, of course. Why would you need privacy with a dashy in your life?
