About Angus
Hi! My name is Angus and I’m a young Kelpie x Border Collie lad. I love nothing more than being with my humans. My foster carer has nicknamed me worm for my ability to worm in between them and whatever they’re doing for a snuggle!
I love people above anything else. I’ll play tug and bring a ball back a few times, but I’d much rather follow you around and help out. I play well with my foster sister, after a controlled introduction (I’m still working on my confidence around unknown dogs, but unknown people are THE BEST!!). I ride happily in the car, watching the world go by out the window.
I’m really good at sitting and going to the toilet outside! Other commands still need work, but I’m very smart and still a puppy so it won’t take us long. I struggle to keep all four paws on the floor when I am excited, but I promise I’m trying and a small reminder for me to sit before I get pats helps a lot! I am learning to ignore dogs on walks and am getting more comfortable every day. I am getting better at sleeping in my crate at night.
I need a home where I can hang out with my people more often than not. While I am a young, energetic boy, my exercise needs are moderate for my breed. Once the work is done, I have a great off switch and will happily curl up next to you on the couch or the floor on your feet. I would prefer the company of a mature and calm doggy sibling or also be very happy as an only dog, that way I can have all of your attention!
I haven’t been tested with kids, however I am gentle and with some boundaries and training, I think I’d be ok.
If you think we can be best buds, please apply!
Angus is located in VIC.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
