About Kenai
Hi! My name is Kenai, I'm a 4 year old tri colour kelpie girl, brown and black with a white chest and the softest fur. I am a settled, affectionate little sweetheart who is ready for her forever home.
I love a walk and a good play with my doggy mates, and I'm just as happy to flop on the lounge for a cuddle when the day is done. I am great with other dogs, brilliant with kids, easy in the car and lovely with everyone I meet. I will happily wander up to a stranger for a pat. I am still getting used to living with a cat, so I would need a slow introduction if there's a cat at home.
I'm fully house trained and I sleep right through the night in my crate. I know my name, I sit on command and I am a pleasure to walk on a lead. The only thing I'm working on is keeping four feet on the ground when I say hello, because I do get excited to see you then I ask for lots of belly rubs.
I would suit a home with people around more often than not, because I bond closely with my person. A daily walk and secure fencing to keep me safe is essential. I will quickly become your best friend so please send in an application today!

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
