About Didg
Meet Didg, a gentle and sweet 4 year old kelpie girl who is searching for the perfect home.
Didg is a quiet girl who is still learning about the world as she hasn’t had much prior experience. As a result, she can be unsure and timid in new situations but luckily her trust can be gained with plenty of pats, treats and patience. Once she’s comfortable with you, she loves trailing along beside you and being included in whatever you are doing.
As well as building confidence, she’s been working hard learning all the basic commands. She walks well on lead and travels nicely in the car. Crate training has helped Didg significantly while in care as it gives her a safe spot to put herself when she’s after some quiet time. She also sleeps in there soundly every night. She would love her new family to continue this as well as her training.
Didg is good with dog savvy kids and loves to soak up the affection they give. She enjoys the quiet company of a similar easy-going dog, however, her main focus is her humans so she would do just fine in an only-dog home given the right attention. She is yet to be tested with cats but is unbothered by the guinea pigs she shares the yard with.
Didg is a smart girl who is eager to learn and trust, she is after an understanding family that is willing to work at her pace and won’t get discouraged if progress feels slow. If you can give her the time, you’ll be rewarded with the most loving and loyal companion.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
