About Cheese
Meet Cheese 🧀
Cheese is a gentle, loving Cattle Dog cross who loves everyone she meets! Cheese is deaf, but that doesn’t stop her from being a happy, affectionate and playful girl who loves life and being close to her humans. Despite her size, Cheese is convinced she’s a lap dog and loves being cuddled up with her people.
In foster care, she has proven to be friendly and sociable with other dogs, enjoying polite play, wrestling and playing tug. She would thrive in a home with another confident, social dog who enjoys having a playmate. Cheese has also shown she is wonderful with visiting children.
Cheese sleeps beautifully through the night in her crate with her doggy foster sibling nearby.
She already picking up visual cues and knows sit, drop and wait. She is great in the car and can walk nicely on lead.
Cheese is a smart girl who will benefit from an experienced dog owner who understands consistent boundaries, ongoing training and continued socialisation.
She particularly loves canine company and would benefit from having an active young doggy sibling, especially if her humans are away during the day. She would not be suitable for a home with cats or small animals.
Cheese is a sweet, affectionate and playful girl looking for a family who will include her in their adventures — and who won’t mind sharing their lap!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
