About Luna
Introducing Luna, a lovely little lass with a heart of gold who is an affectionate and gentle companion dog. This girl loves people and will follow you around as you go about the house then lie quietly at your feet when you are resting - although she prefers to be on your lap getting a pat and cuddle. Luna was reluctantly surrendered by her owners because a significant change in circumstances prevented them from giving all the time and attention she rightly deserves. Her excellent health and sweet nature are testament to the love and care her former family gave her. Simply put, this little girl couldn’t be sweeter.
Miss Luna is a small dog and weighs about under 7 kilograms. She has a small stumpy tail and her ears are not always in sync which add to her cuteness. At four years of age (born June, 2022) Luna has a lot to offer the right household as she has a zest for life and is an active and alert little dog. This girl is past the puppy stage, is toilet trained and is a no fuss girl who eats a variety of food. Miss L has lived happily in a home with other dogs and she loves children. She is currently fostered with other dogs, male and female, and gets along well with all of them but she would probably be more happy in a home as an only dog. Luna rarely barks, is very relaxed and is a happy no fuss little girl.
Luna loves going for walks and walks gently on a loose lead. Although she loves exploring the garden, Luna is predominantly an inside dog and not one to be left alone in the yard for long periods; she needs to be included in family life as she is very gregarious and loves pleasing her people. In summary, this little girl is affectionate, loyal and great company. Luna is looking for a home where her people are there more often than not as she could happily spend all day on their lap; she is the perfect companion dog.
To ensure a reply to enquiries about possible adoption, please tell us a little about yourself and your location and provide contact details. That we can then pass onto their foster carer and the carer will reach out. Luna’s foster mother will provide more information and answer any questions you may have.
A few Important things to know:
• Interstate adoption is available at the adopter's expense. Please contact us for a quote.
• Breed and adult size: as a rescue organisation, we cannot always guarantee a dog's breed mix or their expected adult size.
• Medical conditions: any known medical conditions or ongoing care requirements will always be clearly outlined in the dog's adoption profile.
• Veterinary care: all puppies and dogs are adopted with proof of their completed veterinary work.
• Making an enquiry: when submitting an enquiry, please include a little information about yourself, your location, and your contact details; this allows us to pass your enquiry on to the foster carer who will contact you if they believe the dog may be a suitable match.
• If you are renting, please include a copy of your current lease agreement or written approval from your landlord confirming that pets are permitted at the property. This will assist us in processing your application.

Meet the animal and chat to the foster carer to make sure this animal is the right one for you, your home, family and circumstances.
We recommend you have a chat as a family and a think, make sure everyone is on board and happy with the choice to add the animal to your family.
Contact the team to advise your decision either way....if this one isn't the right fit we will work with you to try and find the best match.
If this is the one, we can start the adoption process. Complete the application to adopt and promptly return the application. A home/yard check may be required by one of our team members, if this is not possible photos showing fenced and undercover areas will be required. Once application is approved, you will be invoiced. Pay the adoption fees via electronic transfer, send proof of payment to admin.
We will advise the you and foster carer the animal is clear to leave and you can arrange collection of your newest family member.

Please note; We do offer interstate adoptions where suitable for the animal in care. All transport costs are at the adopters expense. However we will, where possible, assist with airport transfers. In liu of a meet and greet interstate adopters must have a phone interview/conversation with the foster carer. Yard/Home photos will be required with all interstate applications.
