Toast

Toast came into foster care as a teeny tiny baby at 5 weeks old. We didn't think he was going to make it, but thankfully he pulled through. It's been a long journey since, he's combated flu and ringworm and is now thriving. Toast has been living with his foster family as a foster to adopt kitten, however he is not suited to their home as he is struggling with litter training. Toast has a very sensitive stomach and requires a family that can work with him to find his triggers, whereas his current foster home cannot provide a special diet for him with the other cats and dogs that share the home. Toast is a gorgeous boy, unique in colour and personality. He loves to snuggle, he is SUPER affectionate and loving, always eager for cuddles. He loves to lick, this is another one of his quirky traits that tells you just how much he loves you. He loves other cats and dogs, always keen to play with furry friends or his humans. He is also amazing with kids, a real easy boy who can be carried and loved on by little humans without issues. Unfortunately Toast was also recently diagnosed with a heart murmur, known as a machine murmur (Grade 4), this also means he may also need extensive vet care, or hospice care. On the 19th of October Toast has an echocardiogram to pinpoint the cause of his heart murmur, which could be a PDA, or a hole. A PDA murmur requires specialist surgery, a small hole means he can live a normal life, or a large hole which means he has approx 1-2 years of life left. Once his Echo is performed (at foster family cost) there will be a more detailed plan put in place for his health in the future. Toast has lived a short, but unlucky life so far, but that hasn't stopped him from knowing love, real love, and living his life to the fullest. He needs a family that is 100% dedicated to him, committed and understanding of his needs, in return, they'll will be rewarded with lots of kisses and cuddles.
