Meet Portello – A Gentle Boy with Potential 🐾🧡
Portello is a gorgeous ginger boy with the sweetest little face and a gentle, sensitive nature. Right now, he is still very unsure of the world around him and can be flighty and frightened. He is very shy and will need a patient family, as it will likely take a few months for him to warm up and open his heart.
While he currently prefers playtime over pats, watching him slowly blossom and gain confidence in his own time will be an incredibly rewarding journey.
Portello’s Favorite Things & Ideal Home:
* Feline Friends: He loves the company of other cats! Having a confident, friendly cat companion will help him feel safe and learn the ropes.
* Playtime & "Cat TV": He is very playful and loves interactive toys. His absolute favorite entertainment is "cat TV"—listening to and watching the birds outside from a safe spot!
* Exploring: Once he feels secure, he enjoys wandering around to explore his environment.
* Quiet, Adult Home: A home without young children is essential. Portello needs a peaceful, predictable environment where his family will let him do things entirely on his own terms without any pressure to perform.
If you have a quiet home, a patient heart, and plenty of love and toys to share, Portello will slowly show you just how special he truly is.

1. We ask that you fill in our Adoption Application before we make arrangements to meet a cat or kitten. This will help us to match you the best suited cat or kitten.

2. We will conduct an Interview via phone or video chat if your application is successful.
3. We will invite you to a meet and greet at a time that suits you and our foster carer.
4. If it is a purrfect match for cat and hooman, you will need to:
- Pay the adoption fee as listed. We accept direct deposit or cash.
- Sign our final adoption agreement and send it back to us
- We will conduct a house check and drop off your new friend. We carry out house checks to ensure that there aren't any escape routes, or toxic plants etc.
- We prefer our cats to remain indoors at all times for their safety and the safety of wildlife and are only outside if they have access to a cat run our are outside with supervision.
