About Chummi
Meet Chummy & Mitch ❤️
Meet these two wonderful senior Dachshund boys, Chummi and Mitch.
Chummi is 11 years young and Mitch is 9 years young. Through no fault of their own, these two lovely boys have found themselves in care and are now looking for a loving home where they can enjoy their golden years together.
Both boys have been vet checked, vaccinated and had their teeth professionally cleaned, so they are all ready to begin the next chapter of their lives.
Since arriving in their foster home, Chummi and Mitch have shown themselves to be well house-trained, happily letting you know when they need to go outside.
These boys are full of character and simple pleasures. They enjoy playing with a soft ball and, in true Dachshund fashion, love dragging their beds around the house and rearranging the décor! 🥰
Most of all, they love being with their people. Whether you're relaxing and watching TV, hanging out the washing, gardening or working in your home office, you can be sure these two little shadows will be close by. They are happy to simply follow you around, settle down and keep you company.
They aren't fussy eaters, although, like many little dogs, they have sensitive skin, so a good-quality diet is recommended.
Chummi and Mitch are best friends and are happiest together. They love curling up side by side in a soft bed inside their crate, just as they do in their foster home.
They are also respectful of the cats in their foster home and get along well with other dogs, both big and small.
These two beautiful boys have so much love to give and truly deserve to spend their senior years in a home where they will be loved, cherished, spoiled and pampered.
Could you be the person who gives Chummi and Mitch the loving forever home they deserve?
If you're ready to welcome two gentle, loyal little companions into your life, Chummi and Mitch are waiting to meet you. ❤️🐾

Adoption Process
First, email and enquire about the animal you are looking at to find out more information. Your enquiry will be passed to either the cat or dog team, and you will receive contact from the foster carer to arrange a meet and greet, where possible. We do offer trials for our adult animals for up to a week, so you can ensure that the animal is going to be suited to your home. All our animals are located in Townsville, North Queensland. If you are interstate or not a local, the Angel-Paws Inc. team are more than happy to answer as many questions you have about the animal to ensure they are the right one for you. We are also able to provide more pictures from the animals foster carers to assist you on your decision. The rest of the adoption process all depends on those first steps.
