Bear

Met Bear, Mr Cool himself: this boy is basically a Labrador in disguise. He is the most easygoing dude you will ever meet. Bear ticks all the boxes: he loves people and other dogs, has a great nature, travels well, is house trained and so easy to have around. He's not a large dog; a medium sized fella who is smaller than he looks in photos.

Bear has a mighty bark but rarely uses it. His obedience is awesome, especially when treats are involved! Bear shows his Labrador-like personality again when it comes to food: when he first arrived at his foster home he would inhale his food, however with regular feeding and a consistent routine Bear now has a much more relaxed attitude to mealtimes. That being said, you could teach him to ride a bike if treats were involved 😂

Bear doesn't seam to have experienced much of the world and is very inquisitive but a bit uncertain at first, but he settles in pretty easily and once he gets his bearings he should suit any type of home. He is an active boy and will thrive with daily walks and playtime. Bear doesn't know what water is yet but when he gets introduced we are confident he will love it.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos/video of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into the Second Tale Animal Rescue (STAR) bank account in full before adoption trial starts, and please note, we cannot accept cash. The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of the microchip into the new owner's name, and email copies of the dog's vet records.
