About Serena
❤️❤️❤️❤️ADOPTION❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️ SERENA — SHE WAS LEFT TO DIE, BUT SHE FOUGHT TO LIVE.❤️❤️🐈⬛
Three months ago, I found Serena abandoned on a property, severely emaciated and desperately unwell.
She had a necrotic tail, an eye that needed removing, severe dental disease, an old broken pelvis and a spinal injury.
Without help, Serena would not be alive today. 💔
After months of veterinary care, surgery and so much love from her foster carer, look at her now. ❤️🐾
✨ Healthy organ function
✨ Off all medication
✨ Dental surgery completed
✨ Eye removed & tail amputated
✨ Desexed & vaccinated
✨ Flea & worm treated
✨ Microchipped
✨ FIV/FeLV negative
✨ Cleared for adoption by Dr Jason at Rosebery Vet
Serena has an extremely mild bladder control issue from her old pelvic and spinal injuries. Occasionally, after sleeping and getting up, there may be a couple of tiny drops of urine. She does not wet herself, leave wet spots, or have wet fur around her back end. I wanted to be clear!! ❤️
She also has neuropathy from her spinal injury, but she walks properly and gets around beautifully.
We consulted with Dr Chris Tan at SASH, and surgery for her pelvic injury was not considered to be in her best interests.
And honestly… Serena doesn't know she's supposed to be a “special needs” cat. ❤️
Serena is estimated to be around 5years old, but don't let that fool you, she behaves like a kitten! She is incredibly gentle, affectionate and loving. She adores her humans, loves playing and eating 😂 and has zero aggression, no swatting, biting or hissing. She just wants her own person. ❤️🐈⬛
🏡 INDOOR-ONLY HOME REQUIRED
A secure attached cat enclosure would also be considered.
After everything this beautiful girl has survived, she deserves a forever home where she will be loved, safe and never abandoned again.❤️🐈⬛🐾
🌸 SERENA IS READY TO GO HOME. 🌸
