This lovely boy is looking for a new home. He's happiest snoozing on the couch or riding along in the car with you (he would make a fantastic tradie dog).

Caesar is great with people, and while he's fine around calm, balanced dogs, he'd be just as content as the only pet in a home. He's house and crate trained, with good recall and solid obedience.

One quirk worth knowing: Caesar loves chasing ducks, whether in the water or on land but he does leave them when called back. The chickens are perfectly safe from his attentions however! He's still learning to walk politely on the lead without pulling. We affectionately call him Popeye, thanks to one slightly unusual-looking eyelid, although there's nothing medically amiss and for a nearly 8-year-old, he's in excellent health.

Caesar is a bit of a dude, a bit of a gentleman, and altogether an easy, lovely boy to have around. If you've got room in your home, your heart, and your car too 😂 then Caesar is waiting for you!

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos/video of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into the Second Tale Animal Rescue (STAR) bank account in full before adoption trial starts, and please note, we cannot accept cash. The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of the microchip into the new owner's name, and email copies of the dog's vet records.
