About Melpomene
Meet the Muses: Calliope, Euterpe, Melpomene, Erato, Urania & Thalia
These six beautiful sisters are ready to find their forever families and begin the next chapter of their lives.
Like most happy, healthy puppies, the Muses are confident, playful, and full of curiosity. They love exploring the world around them, making new friends, and turning everyday moments into exciting adventures. Whether they're chasing toys, playing with their siblings, or investigating something new, their enthusiasm for life is contagious.
Each of these girls has her own unique personality that is continuing to blossom as she grows, but they all share a friendly nature, a love of fun, and a willingness to learn. They are at the perfect age to continue developing into well-rounded, polite adult dogs with the guidance, patience, and consistency of their new families.
As with any puppy, their future families should be prepared to invest time in ongoing training, socialisation, and positive reinforcement. In return, they'll gain a loyal companion who will thrive with love, structure, and plenty of opportunities to learn and explore.
Whether you're looking for an adventure buddy, a family companion, or a best friend to share life's moments with, one of these lovely sisters may be the perfect match.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
