About Spike
Spike has reached that lovely age where the kitten chaos is behind him and he can simply concentrate on being a really nice cat.
At eight years old, he's a friendly, relaxed boy who greets people with his tail up, leans straight into pats and is wonderfully easy to handle. He likes people, enjoys affection and seems perfectly happy making a new friend.
He's also doing remarkably well for a mature gentleman. Spike is healthy overall, with only some moderate tartar that doesn't require dental surgery at this stage. Regular dental home care will help keep those teeth in good shape.
For someone looking for a cat who already knows who he is, without all the unpredictability of kittenhood, Spike has a lot going for him. He's affectionate, easy company and still has plenty of good years ahead to spend being spoiled.
We encourage you to come and meet Spike at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold.
