About Possum
Possum is a lovely girl who enjoys connecting with people after building some trust. She can be a little shy and sensitive to start with, so she'll appreciate a gentle approach and the chance to get to know you in her own time.
Possum would love a quiet, low-traffic home with adults or cat-savvy older teenagers who understand her need for patience and choice. A safe space to start, a predictable routine and plenty of hiding spots will help her feel secure as she settles in. She'll also enjoy enrichment such as scratching posts, interactive play, puzzle feeders and cosy places to perch and observe the world around her.
If you're looking for a sweet girl who will reward your patience with plenty of love, Possum could be the one for you.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
