About Bert
Bert can be a little worried when first meeting new people, but with gentle reassurance, patience and affection, he warms up beautifully.
He loves his treats, and high-value rewards such as chicken will be a great way to build his confidence and encourage his training. Bert is still learning basic manners, including keeping all four paws on the floor, so he’ll need a patient and understanding family who can continue his training. He may jump up when seeking reassurance.
Bert would love to be welcomed indoors and included as part of the family, where he can enjoy plenty of companionship and affection.
He is recommended for a home with children aged 8+ who understand basic dog body language.
Bert could potentially live with another social and friendly dog, pending a successful meet and greet.
With patience, consistency and lots of love, Bert has wonderful potential to become a loyal and loving family companion.
