About Bluey
🐾 Meet Bluey! 🐾
Tall, dark and handsome, this loving young lad is ready to go to his forever family.
Bluey is a playful, affectionate boy of medium energy — equal parts zoomies and cuddles — who adores people and greets every dog like a potential new best friend, though he's still learning that not every hello needs his whole body behind it! He's got excellent intentions and developing self-control, and his foster mum says he's a fast learner with a growing list of skills. He already knows sit, wait, leave, off, out, look and check-in, walks beautifully on lead, follows left and right directions, finds the car after an adventure, and comes running to his special whistle recall, even mid-play. He's toilet trained and doggy door trained, highly food motivated, and loves praise and positive reinforcement.
He shares a strong bond with his foster sister and loves a good zoom with dog friends, and when the play's done, he's happiest curled up with his people for cuddles. He's still learning to settle and relax, and learning that the crate is a safe resting place. He's not much of a toy enthusiast yet, but he is a keen digger and a professional sock and shoe collector — enrichment activities go a long way toward keeping that busy brain occupied.
Bluey is looking for:
💙An experienced owner who can continue his training journey
💙A home with secure fencing
💙Ideally, a calm canine companion to help him keep growing into his best self
