Is Jessie Going To Be Your Girl!
Jessie is a playful female Rottweiler looking for a breed-savvy home where she can continue to thrive. She is a fun-loving girl who enjoys her toys and is highly food motivated, making her a great candidate for ongoing training and enrichment. Jessie forms strong bonds with her people and will do best with adopters who can provide her with structure, guidance, and plenty of positive interactions.
When out and about, Jessie can be strong on the lead initially as she gets excited, but she settles well once she has had a chance to burn off some energy. She will benefit from continued training and regular socialisation to help build her confidence in new environments, sounds, and experiences. A commitment to ongoing positive exposure and training will help Jessie become an even more well-rounded companion.
Jessie is seeking a home with secure fencing, as she enjoys digging, although she has never attempted to escape. She should not be left alone for long periods and will be happiest as part of a family where she can enjoy regular interaction and inclusion in daily activities. Due to her strength and size, she is best suited to a home with children aged 12 years and older who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs.
Jessie would ideally be rehomed as the only pet. She is not suitable to live with cats or other dogs. The only exception may be an older male Rottweiler, and only with adopters who have extensive Rottweiler experience and are committed to careful introductions and management. Jessie is a wonderful girl with plenty of love, personality, and potential, and she is looking for a dedicated home that will continue her socialisation journey while providing the stability and companionship she deserves. ๐
