Tommy is a gorgeous young Kelpie pup whose confidence is growing more and more every day! 💙 He is a sweet boy who is still learning about the big wide world and will need a family who is prepared to help him continue building his confidence, manners and skills.

As a young Kelpie, Tommy is going to come with plenty of energy, intelligence and drive! 🐕💨 Kelpies are an active working breed and thrive when they have plenty of exercise, training, enrichment and things to keep their clever brains busy. Tommy will need an active family who is willing to put the time and effort into his training and socialization as he grows.

Puppy school and ongoing positive training would be highly recommended to help Tommy become the best boy he can be. His new family should also be familiar with Kelpie breed characteristics, including their natural herding instincts. Kelpies can sometimes nip at heels or try to herd moving people, particularly children, so a family who understands these behaviors and is committed to appropriately managing and training them will be important. 🐾

Tommy may also enjoy having a confident, compatible doggy friend to learn from and keep him company, pending introductions.
