About Susie
Susie is a young black and tan Kelpie with a heart full of love and a wonderful zest for life. We often joke that she should have been named Shadow because wherever you go, Susie is never far behind. She simply loves being with her people and thrives on companionship.
Susie gets along beautifully with her foster sister, and the two of them love a friendly wrestle and play together happily. She has also been wonderful with a 2yr old toddler. Like many young Kelpies, she’s still a little boisterous and is learning that not everyone wants to be greeted with quite so much enthusiasm!
As a young dog, Susie is still learning the basics. We’re currently working on sit, and she’s making good progress. She comes reliably to a whistle, although she’s still learning to respond consistently to her name.
When the day’s adventures are over, Susie’s favourite place is curled up beside you on the couch for a cuddle. At bedtime, she settles happily into her crate and sleeps through the night.
Susie would suit an active family or person who can continue her training, provide plenty of exercise and, most importantly, include her as part of the family. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily be your constant shadow.
If you’re looking for a clever, loving young Kelpie ready to blossom with a little guidance, Susie could be the perfect addition to your home. Send in an application today!
Susie is located in NSW.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
