Truffle

Truffle is a gorgeous 11-month-old Kelpie/German Shepherd mix who is full of youthful energy, personality and enthusiasm for life. This lovely girl is playful, social and eager to be involved in whatever her people are doing. Like many young working-breed mixes, Truffle is an energetic and bouncy girl who will thrive with an active family that can provide her with plenty of exercise, enrichment, guidance and quality time. She is still very much a youngster, so her new family should be prepared to continue her training and help her learn the skills she needs to grow into a wonderful adult companion. With patience, consistency and positive reinforcement, Truffle has lots of potential to become a fantastic family dog.

Truffle would be best suited to a home with secure fencing and indoor/outdoor access, allowing her to safely enjoy both her home environment and plenty of outdoor time. She can be quite energetic and excitable, so a meet and greet is recommended with younger children to ensure everyone is comfortable with her enthusiastic style. Truffle is also a social girl who enjoys other dogs and has a very playful, bouncy play style, so a meet and greet with any resident dogs will help make sure their personalities and play styles are a good match. With the right family willing to continue her training and provide her with the structure and activity she needs, Truffle is sure to bring plenty of fun, affection and joyful energy into her new home.
