About Crackle
Meet Crackle! Crackle is a sweet and gentle kitten who is very shy and timid in new environments. She needs a calm, patient approach and time to feel safe and comfortable around people. Slow, quiet interactions and allowing Crackle to approach at her own pace will help build trust and confidence. Providing plenty of safe spaces, cosy hiding spots, and elevated areas will give her places to retreat when she feels overwhelmed. Enrichment such as interactive toys, gentle play, food puzzles, and treat-based activities can encourage her to explore and engage at her own pace. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, Crackle can gradually become more confident and develop into a happy, secure companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
