About Kevin
Kevin is a lovely big guy with a very sweet and affectionate personality. Once he feels comfortable, he enjoys seeking people out for interaction and showing off his charming nature.
Kevin can be a little nervous when first introduced to a new space, but with time to settle, his cute personality really starts to shine. Treats are a great way to help him build confidence and trust with his new people.
He particularly enjoys having his face gently rubbed, especially when he is able to initiate the interaction himself. Getting to know Kevin's body language and allowing him to set the pace will help him feel safe and comfortable.
In his new home, Kevin will benefit from plenty of calm, enriching activities and positive interactions. Food-based enrichment, such as hard plastic lick mats, can be a great way to encourage relaxation and help him settle.
With patience, understanding and a little time, Kevin has so much affection and personality to share. He's a big sweetheart who will thrive with people who are happy to let him build trust at his own pace.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
