About Koa
Koa is a Kelpie who will be an energetic and affectionate companion. Initially shy, he quickly gains confidence once he is sure of his environment.
In care, Koa has proven to be sociable and friendly with the resident dogs, engaging in zoomies, wrestling and other fun.
Koa sleeps beautifully through the night in his crate, has good recall, and sitting and walking nicely on a lead.
He is smart and will benefit from consistent boundaries and training as well as continued socialisation.
Koa enjoys the company of other dogs, but equally would be happy as a lone dog too, as long as he is at the centre of an active human family.
He takes a little time to warm up, but is very affectionate once he trusts you.
Koa is best suited to a family with older kids, where he will be an energetic and fun mates. He is looking for a home where he has room to run around and can accompany his humans in their adventures.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
