Sylvian

Sylvian began life in the wild alongside her sister, learning to navigate the world cautiously and quietly. Since coming into care, she has been gently discovering that humans can be safe, kind and comforting — she just needs a little time to truly believe it.

A delicate silver tabby with soft black stripes and a long, elegant tail, Sylvian is a quiet, observant kitten with a thoughtful nature. She’s the kind of girl who prefers to sit back and take everything in, watching the world like a little philosopher before deciding when to step forward.

She is shy and timid at first, but beneath that is a gentle, affectionate kitten who enjoys soft pats and soothing back massages once she feels safe. Sylvian loves cosy, snuggly spots where she can relax and observe her surroundings, and she will gradually come out to engage when she feels comfortable. She also has a playful side, especially when it comes to her favourite game — a charming little version of “soccer” with toys and her siblings.

Sylvian would do best in a calm, patient home with older children (12+) or adults who understand that trust takes time. Loud noises and busy environments can overwhelm her, so she will thrive in a quieter space where she can build confidence at her own pace. She may benefit from another gentle, friendly cat — such as Toby — to help guide her and provide companionship.

Sylvian is a truly special little soul for someone who appreciates the quiet ones. With patience and kindness, she will continue to grow in confidence and reward her person with a soft, meaningful bond built on trust.

Sylvian is a healthy raw/high quality fed female kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010006400054, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption right now!
