Macy

Macy is an affectionate, cuddly, gentle and very playful girl who absolutely loves her people. She has a lovely nature and is full of energy and personality.

Macy is completely obsessed with squeaky balls and loves playing fetch. She could happily chase a ball all day and is currently enjoying two walks a day, including one higher-energy walk with plenty of fetch and play.

Macy has recently discovered water and loves splashing through puddles, although she can be a little unsure of pools and other unfamiliar water. She is also happy spending most of her time inside with her people rather than being left outside for long periods.

She is dog friendly and enjoys having other dogs around, although she can be a little cautious when first meeting them. She would suit children aged 8+ as she can be quite energetic and excitable.

Macy is a quick learner and already knows sit, lie down, paw, stay and wait for her food bowl. Her release word is “yes” and we’re currently working on her recall with “here”. She doesn’t bark much and responds well when given direction.

Like any young dog, Macy is still learning her manners. She is working on walking nicely on lead, not jumping up when excited and settling when she gets overexcited.

She can be a bit mouthy when she gets very excited and likes to chew things she shouldn’t, so she’ll need a family who can continue with her training and give her plenty of appropriate outlets for her energy.

Macy loves dog park beach and water activities.

She would suit an active family who wants a dog that can be involved in their everyday life, enjoys playing and getting out for walks, and is happy to continue building on the training she has already started.
