About Barry
Meet Barry – Great Dane x Labrador… or maybe Great Dane x Goofball!
Hi, my name is Barry and I’m a gorgeous 45kg Great Dane x Labrador boy. My foster mum thinks my breed should really be Great Dane x Goofball, because I’m such a happy, lovable and easygoing boy!
I absolutely love going for walks. I’m so busy enjoying myself with my person that I don’t pay any attention to the other dogs we pass. My foster mum says I’m one of the easiest dogs she has ever had on lead.
And because I’m such a good boy, I get a special treat at the end of every walk!
I live with an elderly cattle dog, and sometimes she decides that my bed is actually her bed. I’m such a gentleman that I’m too scared to move her!
I love my squeaky toys, enjoy my cuddles, and I’m a fantastic sleeper — I sleep right through the night.
What I’d really love is a forever family where someone is home a lot, because I would absolutely love having someone around to give me plenty of cuddles and attention.
My foster mum says it’s actually hard to write a big story about me because I’m just such a good boy. There’s no drama, no fuss — I’m simply Barry, a big, goofy, gentle boy looking for someone to love.
All I want is a family to call my own, and I promise I’ll love my forever family forever.

In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
