About Arlo
Meet Arlo, a tiny 6 kg boy with a gentle nature and a big love for cuddles. Arlo can be a little timid when meeting new people and finds loud voices, boisterous activity and busy environments overwhelming. He needs patient people who will give him time to quietly get to know them.
Once Arlo feels safe and comfortable, his beautiful personality shines through. He loves cuddles and belly rubs and, as his confidence grows, enjoys running and playing. He is great with children who understand how to be calm and respectful around dogs. Arlo has spent time with children aged 6 and 9 and, after a quiet introduction, has been very comfortable with them.
Arlo also enjoys the company of other dogs. He may be hesitant at first, but gets excited to sniff and takes a little time to warm up. A calm, friendly canine companion could be a wonderful confidence booster for him.
Arlo is house trained, travels well in the car and can be left alone once he has settled into his new environment and knows his people will return. If he is frightened or unsettled, he may howl when left alone.
His perfect home would be a calm and patient one, with people who can give him time to settle and feel secure. A noisy or chaotic household would not suit Arlo, but for the right family, this sweet little boy will make a loving and loyal companion.
