Meet Milly – A Torti Lady Looking for Her Special Person
Stunning Milly is a beautiful Torti lady who likes to take her time when meeting new people or finding herself in unfamiliar surroundings. She won’t rush into a relationship, but once she settles into her new home, Milly will choose her special person – and when she does, that person will most definitely be hers!
True to her Torti nature, Milly knows exactly what she likes. Affection is very welcome, but preferably on her terms, and being picked up is simply not her idea of a good time. She would much rather join her human family on the couch for some quiet companionship before heading off for a little playtime with her favourite mouse toys.
Milly is looking for a quiet home without children or dogs, where she’ll be given the time and space she needs to settle in and form that special bond. She has never been a free-roaming cat and must remain indoor-only, with plenty of cosy spots, toys and safe places to call her own.
If you appreciate an independent lady with plenty of personality and understand just how special it is when a shy cat decides that you are their person, Milly may just be waiting to choose you.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
