Rocky: 8 year old male Cattle x
After eight years of living in a confined pace with little opportunity to enjoy the outdoor life, Rocky, who never had a chance to be just a pup, is looking for a permanent home where he can have fun and be given all the love, training, exercise and pampering he deserves.
Hey everyone, meet Rocky! He's such a sweetheart who absolutely adores his foster humans. Rocky loves making new friends and is super excited to find his forever family - someone who's active and loves adventure just like he does!
Even though Rocky loves his toys, especially the brain games that are part of his current behaviour training Rocky is just as comfortable being a total lounge lizard. Rocky will best be suited as an one dog family, and his ideal family is one that is committed to his ongoing behaviour training and socialisation skills with other dogs.
Rocky can sometimes be a bit reactive around other dogs and is a little bit fearful of wheels, but he's really making great progress with expert training to overcome these challenges! However, we're still getting to know Rocky's reactions to cats and other animals, but he did have a hilarious moment recently when he seriously tried to imitate a kangaroo he met!
Being smart, loyal and quick to learn, Rocky knows several commands; including sit, wait, come, stay, shake and fist bump with both paws. He is polite and gentle with food, takes his medication wrapped in cheese and is continuing to improve with his behaviour around other dogs while out walking.
Rocky is a very sweet and affectionate dog who just loves cuddles and pats! Along with his playful personality, he's a total bundle of joy and just loves having fun. Rocky would be perfect for an active, strong family with a secure yard, that enjoys lots of exercise and cuddles with a happy-go-lucky pooch who will be your loyal best friend forever!
Rocky is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms. His adoption fee is $500 which includes all essential vet costs in preparation for his permanent home. Rocky is in foster care on the South Coast, NSW.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRM Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
