About Mortimer
Hi there, I'm Mortimer, a refined little fellow with a coat as soft as a morning cloud. I’m seven years old, which means I’ve learned to savor the quiet joys: a warm sunbeam to nap in, the scent of fresh air after rain, and the simple comfort of a familiar corner to watch the world from. I move at a relaxed pace and I’m the kind of rabbit who notices the smallest details—the creak of a chair, the kettle’s whistle, a friendly voice calling my name—and I respond with a small, dignified blink and a whisker twitch that says I’m glad you’re here. I’m a rabbit who likes to settle into life with a calm, curious heart. I’m generally well adapted to new surroundings, so I’m not easily rattled by a steady, gentle routine. What helps me feel safe is a quiet space to observe, a soft hideaway to retreat to, and a kind, patient person who lets me come to them at my own pace. I need a secure outdoor area where I can hop around, feel the breeze, and enjoy the outdoors on my terms. I’m the sort of friend who grows more confident with time and respect. If you’ve cared for rabbits before, you’ll know I value a patient hand and a space to retreat when I need it; if you’re newer to us, a caregiver who’s eager to learn would be wonderful. If my story resonates, I’d love to meet you. Please come say hello and tell the team you’d like to meet Mortimer; we can discover together whether we’re a good fit, and I can show you how quietly I can brighten a corner of your home.
