About 13854 – Flash
❤️⚡️ INTRODUCING FLASH ⚡️❤️
"Guess who's back? Back again? - Flash is back - tell a friend!"
Yes, it is I - Flash - or, as my foster mama affectionately calls me; Flashy Pants! For anyone who has followed PRA from the beginning, you might just remember me! I was adopted many years ago as a bright and bouncy kitten. Sadly, eight years later, I have found myself back in care due to no fault of... okay, well maybe a little fault of my own.
Nature
You see, one of my favourite pastimes is gently gnawing on my pawrents flesh. I don't ever draw blood, but it is due to this personal hobby that I've been handed around like a toothy little cookie over this past year. Despite all of this, my pawrents absolutely adore me and worship the ground I walk on. So, if you're interested in adopting the best cat in the world, please read on...
I'm a precious little guy whose heart is as big as his belly (all 8kg of it. Yep, you read that right. Ladies, form an orderly queue.). I'm a combination of confident, chilled out, playful, loving and cheeky all rolled into one scrumptious package.
My foster mama thinks it's important to add that I can be somewhat complex (she originally said 'bitey' but I thought it sounded too mean). 99% of the time I'm the most purrfect companion but on that rare occasion, when I'm feeling naughty, I will nibble on my hoomans. They aren't sure why I do this. It could potentially be pain related, or it could be because I'm overstimulated. Either way, I don't mean to hurt anyone and if you let out a stern 'ow' then I will take that as my queue to stop. I know, I'm not just a pretty face.
Other than that, I am the greatest little kid. My pawrents are so besotted with me, in fact, that they discuss foster failing me every single day. My foster Dad is particularly smitten with me as I always run to greet him whenever he comes home from work. I'm basically a dog dressed up in a cat's suit. What could be better?!
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
No thanks.
But in all seriousness - really, really, no.
Cats? Hate 'em. Dogs? Absolutely not. Kids? I'm prioritising my career... Ha. Not really, I don't work! My pawrents pay for everything for me! But I really wouldn't be suitable for kids, or older people, as my foster mama doesn't want me hurting their fragile skin. She's always trying to rain on my parade.
Likes/Dislikes
My pawrents say that the reason I come in such a chonky package is so that it can fit my big, beautiful heart. I try to keep in shape (what? Round is a shape!) by eating all day. The vet had the nerve to suggest I could lose a few kilos. I know, right? How dare they! There is simply no room for fat shaming in this day and age.
My favourite things in the world are playing and love. In that order. I would play all day, every day if eating and demanding attention didn't get in the way. Other things I love include snuggling up in laps, always being the little spoon at bedtime, fighting the fool in the mirror and following everyone around like a bad smell.
The only thing I'm not a fan of is kids... cats... dogs... basically anyone who will stop me from being the king of my very own castle.
My PURR-fect home would be with kind and caring hoomans who want to adopt the best dog - wait, I mean cat, in the world and who have the patience and skin thickness to weather the occasional loving chomp.
My main hope is to find a family who will love me for the rest of my life and who will make sure I never end up lonely again.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
