About Spud
🐾 A New Chapter for Sweet Spud 🐾
Spud has quite the story to tell. ❤️
Three years ago, Spud went missing from his family home. He was a much-loved member of the family, and they spent years searching and wondering what had happened to their beautiful boy.
Then, incredibly, after three long years, Spud was finally found and reunited with his family. 🥹❤️
Sadly, life on his own appears to have left some scars. Since returning home, Spud has shown a significant fear of the family dog. We don’t know what Spud experienced during those missing years, but his reaction suggests he may have had a frightening or traumatic encounter with a dog while he was lost.
His family have tried to make things work, but ultimately they have had to make the heartbreaking decision to find Spud a dog-free home, where he can feel completely safe and relaxed. This decision has been made with Spud, their dog and the whole family’s wellbeing in mind.
And what a beautiful boy Spud is. ❤️
Spud is a large, gentle giant with an incredibly affectionate nature. He settles into new environments surprisingly well and really just wants to be loved. He adores attention from his people, especially those lovely neck scratches, and has so much affection to give.
While dogs are understandably a no for Spud, he gets along wonderfully with other cats. 🐱
Spud has now been desexed and is ready to begin the next chapter of his life. He would make a beautiful family cat or a devoted companion for someone wanting a big, affectionate sweetheart by their side.
🏡 Spud needs an indoor-only, dog-free home.
After everything this darling boy has been through, we would love nothing more than to see him finally settled somewhere he can feel safe, loved and secure for the rest of his life.
