Meet Bandit!

Bandit is a sweet little Jack Russell Terrier with an independent streak and plenty of personality!

Unlike some little dogs, Bandit isn't looking to spend his days curled up on someone's lap. He's much more of a "I'll come to you when I'm ready" kind of guy. He enjoys companionship and being around his people but also appreciates having his own space and being able to choose when he wants some attention.

Bandit can lack confidence when it comes to handling and doesn't enjoy being fussed over or over-handled. He's looking for a patient, understanding family who will respect his boundaries, read his body language and allow him to build trust at his own pace. Once he knows you're someone he can trust, you'll get to see more and more of his sweet little personality.

Because of his handling sensitivities, Bandit is looking for a home with older children aged 16 years and above.

Bandit is okay with other dogs and may be able to share his home with a compatible canine friend, pending a successful meet and greet here at the shelter.

If you appreciate an independent little character and are happy to give Bandit the freedom to be himself, he could be just the little mate you've been looking for.
