Gorgeous Kitty is a confident young lady who is friendly, playful and full of personality. She loves having fun and certainly isn’t one to sit quietly on the sidelines when there’s something interesting happening!
Being a young and enthusiastic girl, Kitty can sometimes get a little overexcited and overstimulated during playtime. Her manners are still a work in progress, and when the excitement takes over, her play can become a little rough. She hasn’t quite worked out all the rules yet!
Kitty is looking for a confident, cat-savvy home with someone who understands feline behaviour and is willing to continue teaching her appropriate boundaries. With consistency, routine, plenty of enrichment and positive guidance, this clever young lady can continue learning how to channel all that enthusiasm.
Because Kitty can get carried away during play, her perfect home will be without young children or seniors who may find her energetic antics a little too rough.
Kitty has so much to offer – affection, confidence, entertainment and plenty of fun. She simply needs the right person to help polish those slightly rough edges!
If you’re cat-savvy, enjoy an energetic youngster and don’t mind continuing her education in the finer points of feline etiquette, Kitty would love to meet you!

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
