Paul

Paul is the quieter little gentleman of the litter. While his older brothers are busy wrestling, racing through the house and generally behaving like tiny hooligans, Paul is much more likely to be watching the action from the sidelines, taking everything in before deciding whether it is worth joining.

He is a very gentle, sweet-natured and curious kitten, although his curiosity currently comes with a little caution. He likes to observe people from a comfortable distance and can often be found simply sitting and gazing up at you with enormous, adoring eyes, looking as though he would very much like some love but hasn’t quite worked out how to ask for it yet.

Paul hasn’t progressed to climbing onto laps by himself, but he is becoming increasingly interested in his humans and clearly enjoys affection. With his more boisterous brothers frequently stealing the spotlight, this beautiful little boy can sometimes get overlooked — but give him your undivided attention and you quickly discover what an incredibly soft and endearing little personality he has.

He certainly isn’t completely innocent. Paul loves toys, climbing, playing and food, and he has perfected the classic kitten ambush: hiding around a doorway and launching himself at passing feet or trouser legs. When he does wrestle, he tends to prefer his little sister rather than attempting to compete with the considerably more enthusiastic Steve-and-Seth wrestling federation.

Paul would likely thrive in a calmer, quieter home where he has time to build his confidence at his own pace. He would be especially suited to someone who wants an affectionate companion and has plenty of love and attention to give, without expecting him to immediately be the boldest kitten in the room.

He has not yet been exposed to dogs or children. Because he is a slightly more sensitive little soul, any future introductions would need to be gentle and carefully managed.
