Banksy is a sweet, playful boy who is learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. When he first arrived, he was a little unsure of his surroundings, but with kindness, patience and plenty of treats, his confidence has blossomed. Now, he's showing us more of his cheeky, affectionate personality every day!

Banksy is a real people-lover who enjoys attention, cuddles and being part of whatever you're doing. He's even been known to hop straight onto someone's lap for a cuddle and happily stay there!

This handsome boy has a playful side, too. He absolutely loves his paddock time, bouncing around, exploring and splashing in the doggy pool. Once he's had a chance to get his zoomies out, he's ready to put his thinking cap on. He's been doing really well with his training, learning his basic manners and showing great progress with his sit and recall. He's eager to please and responds well to food, toys and praise.

Banksy has also been enjoying his street walks and is becoming more confident with each adventure. He walks well on lead, although he may pull a little when an interesting sniff catches his attention! Having a doggy friend alongside him, that matches him in temperament, can help boost his confidence and benefit his life greatly. He has shown lots of interest in having a dog companion and has enjoyed walking and playing with several dogs at the shelter.

As Banksy can get a little overexcited when playing with other dogs, he'll benefit from continued training to help him learn when it's time to play and when it's time to settle. He can sometimes be startled by unfamiliar things, but gentle reassurance helps him feel safe.

Banksy is looking for a loving home that will give him time to settle in, continue his training and provide plenty of opportunities for walks, play, enrichment and cuddles. A secure yard with fencing that he cannot climb is essential, as this clever boy has shown us how high he can jump and that he's quite capable of scaling a fence if he wanted to!
