Adoption information
About Jerry
Hello there! I’m Jerry, and I’m officially accepting applications for my forever family.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR JERRY
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM
Please note that adoption applications can only be approved if you’re able to visit the shelter to meet Jerry in person.
PLEASE NOTE: Shelter staff make the final decision based on determining if the applicant can meet the animal’s needs (lifestyle, home environment, experience) Our goal is to ensure a permanent home that sets both the animal and new family up for success.
Shelter staff reserve the right to deny an adoption if they determine the animal's specific needs do not match the applicant's lifestyle.
What I want in my new home:
I’m an indoor-only kitty so I can live a long, happy, and healthy life.
Although I am an indoor kitty, I would love watching the world go by – a secure cat enclosure or some supervised harness time (once I’m settled) would be a wonderful bonus.
A good-quality dry food diet would help keep my teeth healthy and sparkling.
Toys, enrichment, and fun activities will keep my clever mind busy and content.
A home filled with lots of love, patience, and attention.
I’m happy to live with gentle, respectful children,
I can be a little shy at first, so I’ll need a family who lets me build confidence at my own pace.
My quiet, gentle nature means I’d suit a calm, mature household best.
Regular grooming will keep me looking and feeling my best.
As I came to the shelter as a stray, my past experience with children and other pets is unknown.
Since there’s no known history of me living with other animals, slow and thoughtful introductions to any future furry family members will be important.
Perks:
Fully litter trained — a very tidy housemate!
Quiet and gentle in nature.
Low maintenance and easy to love
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
