Hi, I’m Pippin! I’m a little more independent than my brother Merry, but don’t mistake that for not having opinions! I know exactly what I want — and I’m not afraid to let you know.

Nature
I’m a firm believer in the open-door policy. If a door is closed, I’ll scratch at it to make absolutely certain you know that I am on the other side and would like to be involved, thank you very much.

I’m also a big believer that one breakfast is never enough. In my world, there is always room for a second breakfast… and possibly a third.

I love playing, exploring and getting involved in whatever my humans are doing. I’m happy doing my own thing, but I also love being part of the action — preferably with all doors open and snacks readily available!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’m good with other cats and could happily share my home with feline friends.
I could also suit a dog-friendly home, provided I’m introduced to any resident dog slowly and appropriately.

I would be a lovely match for a family with children of all ages. My playful, affectionate nature means I’d love having humans around to give me attention, play with me and, of course, provide plenty of cuddles!

Likes / Dislikes
I’m very easy to please!

🍦 Creamy treats — definitely a favourite!
🧸 Toys — the more playtime, the better.
🐱 Playing together — I love having a playmate.
❤️ Cuddles with my humans — especially when it’s time to wind down.
🐾 Cuddling with my brother — when we’re not busy causing mischief together.
👀 Being involved — I like knowing what my humans are doing!

My dislike list is currently very short.
❌ Being alone.
❌ Privacy is completely unacceptable. If I know you’re in a room, I believe I should also be in that room. A closed door is not a boundary — it is an invitation to politely (or not-so-politely!) request entry.
❌ I simply love being around my humans and don't like missing out on the action.

My PURR-fect home would be just about any home. I’m good with other cats and could suit a home with feline friends. I could also suit a dog-friendly home, provided any resident dog is introduced slowly and appropriately. I would suit a home with humans of all ages and would love a family who enjoys having me involved in everyday life.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Pippin had cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. He was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.
