Meet Lukey, a striking black and white young man with the kind of face you can't scroll past. He's made the journey all the way from Rockhampton to Cairns, and we owe a huge thank you to his supporters and to Central Queensland Animal Society for helping get him here safely.

Lukey is a happy, people loving guy who settled in fast. He's been going out of his way to say hello to the other kittens and cats around him, trotting over for a sniff and a chat like he's already made friends with everyone. He's got these adorable short, stout little features that make him even more irresistible in person.

Lukey has a calm demeanour and is lovely to be around. He is also very affectionate and will happily join you on your tasks. His one quirk is he truly believes he has never been fed. Portion sizes are needed for Lukey to have a healthy future.

Love fiercely, rescue endlessly, because every cat deserves a second chance.
