About Mason - 1 Year Old Shepherd X Beagle
Mason is the last of our Beagle X Shepherd litter now looking for his forever home. He’s a boy who is expressive, loving and is a big feeling kinda guy.
During the day, Mason is an energetic, clever boy who loves having things to do - learning new things, enrichment, games or settling down with a good chew. He gets excited when he’s having fun and is still learning appropriate play manners, including not jumping or play nipping when excited. He’ll benefit from gentle redirection, consistency and plenty of appropriate outlets for his energy.
When the day winds down, Mason’s favourite place is right beside his people. He loves cuddles and company, but is still learning how to switch off, settle and feel comfortable on his own. He’ll thrive with a calm, predictable routine and ongoing behaviour support.
His ideal family will enjoy keeping his clever mind and body engaged while also helping him discover that doing nothing is pretty great too. In return, Mason will give you plenty of love, cuddles and a loyal companion who just wants to be by your side ❤️

🌿 Still building confidence outdoors; unfamiliar people, dogs, vehicles & sounds can be overwhelming
🏡 Best suited to a calm, predictable home with no children or other pets
👋 Loves company & needs someone home often
❤️ Needs a patient family who will give him time to learn, grow in confidence & build his independence through ethical fear free behaviour support and training
He is in foster care in Sydney, NSW. He is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $700 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
