Hudson is a striking smoke tabby with big green eyes and an even bigger heart. He made the long journey from Rockhampton to Cairns, and every step of the way there were people willing to help him get here. We owe a big Thank you to CQASI and to everyone who supported his transport, because without them this handsome young man would not be sitting in front of you today.

Settling in has been the easy part for Hudson. He is well socialised and beautifully adjusted, taking new people and new places in his stride. The other cats in care have not ruffled him in the slightest, so he would happily join a home with feline company or hold his own as an only cat. He is good with children too, calm and gentle in the way that makes him lovely company for a family. Dogs are the one thing he has not been introduced to yet, so a slow and proper introduction would be needed there.

What Hudson offers is simple and rare: a young cat who is genuinely easy to live with. He is affectionate without being demanding, playful without being wild, and always up for sitting nearby while you get on with your day.
