Some cats come to us from down the road. George came from Mornington Island, a journey most of us can't imagine for a little cat who'd already been through more than his share before he even arrived. We don't know all the details of what happened to him before he found us, but we know it was rough, and we know he's still healing from it.

What we do know is who he is now. George is a people cat through and through. He doesn't just tolerate company, he seeks it out. Wherever you are, he wants to be there too, curled up nearby, keeping you in sight, soaking up every bit of affection on offer. After everything he's been through, all he really wants is a person to call his own.

George needs a home where he's the only cat and lives strictly indoors, with his sensitive tummy managed on Royal Canin digestive biscuits. In return he offers something rare, complete and total devotion to the person who takes him in. Whoever adopts George isn't just getting a cat. They're getting a shadow, a companion, and the chance to be the hero of the second half of his story.
