About Nokota
Nokota is a lovely young girl with a gentle nature and a quiet spirit. She is still learning about her surroundings and building trust, so she will thrive with people who are willing to let her settle in gradually and develop at her own pace.
A home that offers a predictable routine, gentle interactions and plenty of interesting things to see, smell and investigate would help Nokota feel more comfortable and engaged. She may initially prefer to observe from a safe distance, but given patience and reassurance, she has every opportunity to become a relaxed and affectionate companion.
Nokota is searching for a caring family who understands that confidence takes time to develop. With a little kindness, patience and a secure environment, this young girl can continue to grow and discover how wonderful life can be.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
