About Jecata
Note: This dog is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another dog.
Jecata is a sensitive, affectionate and playful boy who is looking for a patient home where he can feel safe and settled.
He loves his people and is a huge cuddle bug once he trusts you.
He enjoys playing fetch and tug, but is also perfectly happy spending time sunbaking or relaxing with his favourite stuffed goose. Jecata loves his car rides and has made great progress with his training, including toilet training, waiting for food and loose-leash walking.
Jecata can be anxious and easily overwhelmed, particularly around strangers, children playing and busy environments.
He is suited to living in an apartment, with secure 6ft fencing and is suited to full time workers.
He is best suited to an adult only home, and currently best as an only dog.
While he can be left alone without being destructive, he does become upset and may cry when left.
Jecata will need an adopter who understands his sensitivities and is prepared to continue working on his confidence, lead skills and ability to cope with the world around him. In return, you'll get an incredibly affectionate, cheeky and devoted boy who loves nothing more than being close to his people.
Best with Children Aged: adult household only
