About Bundy
Hello there! I’m Bundy, and I’m officially accepting applications for my forever family.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR BUNDY
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM

My Ideal Home:
• I’ll need daily exercise — walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• Ongoing training and guidance with basic manners will help me grow into a well-behaved companion.
• I want to be part of the family indoors — not left outside without interaction.
• As a social and playful pup, I may really enjoy attending doggy daycare.
• I need a doggy companion to keep me company when my family isn’t home, or a household where someone is around most of the time. I can feel lonely and anxious when left alone, which may lead to barking or destructive behaviour.
• Secure fencing (no gaps, holes, areas I can escape through) is essential to keep me safe.
• I’d love plenty of toys and mental enrichment to keep my busy mind occupied.
• Most importantly, I’m looking for lots of love and attention from my family.
• I have previously lived with young children - we didn't interact much, but I was always gentle towards them.
• As a young puppy, I’m ready to learn and adapt - it’s essential that I receive consistent guidance and training in every aspect of my life so I can become the very best companion as I mature.
• Because I may have had a sheltered start and can sometimes be shy in new situations, continued socialisation will really help build my confidence. I’m already becoming braver at the shelter!
• I was unsure around cats at the shelter and may become more inquisitive as my confidence grows, to be safe a home without cats would be best for me, as I’m likely to chase them.
My Paw-some Perks:
• I’m a very playful, happy pup with the cutest little wiggle-butt when I’m excited.
• I’m very social and happy to hang out with other friendly dogs — total social butterfly!
• I absolutely love attention, cuddles, hugs, kisses and head scratches, and I’m quite partial to snoozing on the couch with my humans.
• I’m gentle and placid in nature, and I’ve had some basic obedience training.
• I walk nicely on lead for a young dog, and with daily walks I’ll only keep improving.
Training/Support Needs:
• I’ve lived in the same home my whole life and had very little exposure to the outside world. Everything is quite new to me, so I’ll need a patient family to gently socialise me and show me that the world isn’t such a scary place.
• I haven’t had any formal training yet, so I’ll need help with all my basic manners and life skills. The good news is I love food and toys, which will make positive training lots of fun and rewarding for me.
• I may initially shy away from things going over my head (like a lead), but I warm up quickly and my fun, lively personality soon shines through.
• I’m not housetrained yet, as I haven’t previously been allowed inside, so I’ll need guidance and consistency to learn.
Please Note: You’ll only be able to meet Bundy if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
PLEASE NOTE: Shelter staff make the final decision based on determining if the applicant can meet the animals needs (lifestyle, home environment, experience) Our goal is to ensure a permanent home that sets both the animal and new family up for success.
