About Enola
A few months ago we got a call from a member of the public who was worried sick about a guinea pig being given away for free online. She had one eye, a deformed leg, and was suspected to be pregnant. We went and got her, and drove straight to the vet.
She was mostly bald, skeletal, and diagnosed with a congenital heart defect that takes surgery off the table for life. We decided she deserved a chance anyway, brought her home and named her Enola.
Enola had fight in her from day one. She loves food, and her club foot does not slow her down one bit. She showed us straight away that she was a sassy, hungry girl, and within eight weeks she was unrecognisable. By some miracle she was not pregnant, and we are so grateful her body did not have to endure anything more. She loves tomatoes and celery, and when she hears that fridge door open she expects you to pay the toll.
