About Smokey
Smokey is a sweet and sensitive little guinea pig looking for a calm, understanding home where he can truly come out of his shell. A shy boy at first, Smokey blossoms with patience, gentle handling and plenty of reassurance, rewarding his people with adorable squeaks and curious little adventures once he feels safe. He will thrive in a large indoor only setup with a quiet, gentle family who understand his need to settle in at his own pace. He may also do well with another desexed guinea pig friend, pending a meet and greet at Burwood.
Smokey absolutely loves enrichment and tasty veggies. He enjoys tunnels to zoom through, hay piles to burrow in, forage boxes filled with treats, chew toys, cozy hideaways and snack time with fresh greens to munch on. Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
