This is Sandy’s.
Raced as Chilli Sal. 4yrs old
Sandy is one of those beautiful girls who seems to have worked out exactly what she enjoys in life — good company, a comfy bed, adventures in the car and a lovely walk. 💙
She’s an affectionate, confident girl who loves meeting new people and is always happy to make a new friend. Sandy has a playful, energetic side, but she’s also a true creature of comfort and certainly appreciates having a soft bed to curl up on when the important business of the day is finished. 😂
Walk time? Sandy is ready! 🐾
She loves getting out and about and walks beautifully without pulling on the lead.
Car ride? Even better! 🚗
She’s a relaxed passenger and is quite happy to sit back and enjoy the journey.
Sandy is also good with other greyhounds s d requires another dog for company while your out.
she could share her home with another greyhound after the usual introductions and matching.
Or if you don’t mind 2.. she’s already friends with her housemate Bandit!
And did we mention she’s photogenic? 📸😍
This gorgeous girl certainly knows how to work a camera!
Sandy is ready for the next chapter of her story — a home where she can enjoy her walks and adventures, meet plenty of people, and most importantly have a very comfy bed waiting for her at the end of the day.

Medical notes
Sandy sustained a fractured hock in June 2025. She underwent surgical repair of the fracture in June 2025, with the associated hardware subsequently removed in September 2025.
Her right front foot tilts outwardly slightly. But this does not affect her normal day to day activities
Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
