If youāre looking for a sweet, affectionate girl with a gentle nature, a playful side and just a little bit of adorable quirkinessā¦ meet Katie. š„°
Katie is a 4yr old, beautiful girl who simply loves being part of whatever her people are doing. She has plenty of energy for playing with her toys, but sheās equally talented at lounging around and snoozing the day away. If her humans are relaxing, Katie is more than happy to relax right along with them.
And Katie really loves her people. ā¤ļø
She has been doing well at home with a doggy companion and plenty of toys while her family is out, but when you come home, prepare to hear all about how terribly you have been missed! š
There may be a few sooky little words, some very convincing puppy-dog eyes and a Katie-shaped shadow following you around until she is satisfied that you arenāt going anywhere again. If someone leaves the house without her, she may even find another member of the family to tell about the injustice. š
Despite loving to be close, Katie isnāt intrusive. She has lovely manners around the home. She might have a curious sniff to see whatās on the kitchen bench, but she doesnāt help herself. At family dinner time, sheās quite content to quietly stand behind someoneās chair with sleepy eyes until everyone is finished.
Food is definitely one of Katieās favourite things ā and snacks are taken very seriously. š
When itās time to settle, she loves being near her people, whether thatās curled up on her own bed nearby or snuggled close on the lounge.
Katie has also been a good girl travelling in the car and has handled trips out for things such as the vet and a bath well. She walks well but her new family will still need to continue working on her lead skills and building her confidence out and about.
Katie really is the sweetest girl ā loving, gentle, affectionate, playful and, said with absolutely all the love in the world, just a little bit quirky. š And we think that makes her even more special.
Katie is ready to find the family who will love having their devoted little shadow by their side.
She will be best suited to a home with another dog for company

Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
